The Men’s lacrosse club is a growing club for members of all lacrossing abilities. We have two teams playing in BUCS competitions. The 1st team, primarily for those with prior lacrosse experience, plays in the BUCS premiership and is one of the best university sides in the country. The 2nd team, made up entirely of players who have taken up the sport on coming to university, plays in the second division. The club has been one of the most successful lacrosse clubs in the country with 3 appearences in the BUCs championship finals in 4 years.
On top of our sporting quests throughout the year the team also boasts a fruitful social life. Lacrosse is one of the few clubs to run its social calendar as the Men’s and Women’s clubs combined. This creates great opportunities to meet other lads and lasses across all years and become part of a friendly, lively network that is already in place. Socials are every Wednesday night, to celebrate a win, or forget about a loss, but due to the large mixed turnout are always nights to remember. Each year come Easter time the entire men’s and women’s lacrosse section goes on tour together. This is something every person must experience before there youth slips away from them!
