Nottingham Kung Fu club aims to provide each member with the means to defend themselves in real-life environments and situations.
We train in the style of Jeet Kune Do, which combines elements of Wing Chun, western boxing and fencing to produce a simple but effective system of self defence.
We are suitable for all abilities and fitness levels. Both men and women, of all shapes and sizes, will find they learn useful defense techniques from day one right through to the higher grades.
All sessions are run by Paul Johnson, who is a second generation instructor in the lineage of Bruce Lee, who developed the style. Lessons are always challenging but fun and we try hard to be welcoming to everybody who comes along.
We train in the East Concourse of the Portland Building at the following times:
Tuesday 20.00 - 22.00
Thursday 20.00 - 22.00
Sunday 14.00 - 16.00
All sessions are suitable for beginners.
We have no dress code but advise comfortable sports wear. Casual clothes are perfectly acceptable too. Each session will cost £2.50 with your FIRST SESSION FREE.
