Gymnastics
The University of Nottingham Gymnastics Club encourages students of all abilities to come and get involved in the sport whilst at university. We train up to three times a week and make use of a purpose-built gymnasium off campus which is fully equipped for the sport. We also have socials once a month which are not to be missed!
Actions speak louder than words- check out our gymnasts in action:
In Training, on our Youtube Channel, back in 2011-2012 and 2010-2011
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us; whether this is through our Facebook group page, in person at the sessions or via e-mail we will be happy to help.
Sessions
Sessions cost £5 per session for members (FREE for drivers). Typical sessions will have a structured warm-up followed by some basics and then you have free roam of the gym! If there is anything in particular you would like to learn just ask our coach!
Membership
Membership for the year is £25 and gives you discounted training prices throughout the year, covers all insurance and British Gymnastics Membership.
Socials
Socials are a big part of the club too! They vary from wacky fancy dress outings, picnics in the park, visiting hall bars to the AU Ball at the end of the Spring term.
Social Secs for this year are Nadia Hansell and Dan Barnett.
So whether you are an ex- elite gymnast, a free runner or a complete novice wanting to learn some impressive skills (and have a lot of laughs whilst doing so) just find us on Facebook, sign up, come along, and give it a go!
We look forward to seeing you!
