There's more to University life than studying and NUWFC is a great way to profit fully from the University experience and make some brilliant friends along the way! NUWFC also gives members the chance to get involved in charity work by organizing events such as charity football matches, rag raids, charity socials/gigs and working with networks within the University. Wednesday night=AU Night; the biggest night of the week! After an afternoon of matches, NUWFC socials provide a great night out.The Lovely Social Secs Leah Mapara and Ellie Sakata are in charge of this every week and they choose venue and fancy dress - with original themes. It isn't always about the lash we go ice-skating, bowling, and have a xmas dinner, plus numerous other social events throughout the year! - Including rag raids, charity gigs and the AU Ball. We tend to go to Up N Down Under - our club sponsor - then onto Crisis 'til the early hours of the morn with a nice walk home and a weekly visit to the takeaway to put on the pounds we burned off during the day! Basically, it's a really good club-bonding sesh that you can rely on kind of like a comfort blanket! So girlies get involved!
