We are a highly successful club, with a team in all four BUCs finals in 2010, winning three golds and one silver. We train and play hard catering for all abilities from those who have never been in a canoe before to those training at international level.
We have regular tournaments, socials and training weekends as well as holding our own tournament in second term.
Training is Monday 8:30-10:30 and Saturday 6-7 at the University Pool, bring boardies and a rashy and come down!

What? If you don’t know your sweep stroke from your draw stroke this is the day for you. We’re running two sessions with qualified coaches on Saturday focussing on general paddling skills . All welcome—from those who’ve never paddled before to people wanting to brush up on their basic skills.

What? The AU’s best fresher’s social! Pair up with current members in a three legged trip round campus with challenges along the way - outfits provided! Training Weekend
When? 15th/16th October Where? Leeds
How much? Approx £20 (include transport, accommodation and breakie)
What? Our first overnight tour of the year is a trip to Roundhay Park in Leeds where
current members of the GB squads will be coaching. Accommodation is in a nearby scout hut and the fun doesn't stop when we’re off the water! Suitable for all abilities.
ULU Tournament

What? First University tournament of the season and It’s gunna be awesome! NUCP will be taking three teams: Men, Ladies and B/Freshers. An opportunity for anyone to get on the Fresher’s team, all that is required is enthusiasm , commitment and you are close to mastering paddling in a straight line. In return you’ll learn new skills and have a weekend to remember!
