Stop The Traffik Society

Hundred of thousands of people are trafficked across the world every year. Stop the Traffik society is a group of students who believe this is wrong.
Our aim: to spread awareness across campus and campaign for the freedom of people that are trafficked. We want our students to know that trafficking happens on our doorstep, as well as other countries.
Why join? If you believe in the freedom of all people, come along to our weekly meetings. We provide information, a place to discuss and practical ways for you to change what is happening.
What else? So far this year, we've had a photo shoot, a hands-on session with paint, a film showing in the SEEN film festival, a cake stall and a chocolate fondue! We've got our Roadshow coming up, a petition about the 2012 London Olympics and hopefully another film showing.
Keep an eye on our Facebook page so you know what's coming up!
Weekly meetings - Tuesdays 3-4pm - Room C4/5 Portland Building
We're in Impact - check out the SEEN film festival review of Taken in the UoN student magazine.
