Sign ups to the society are now closed as the training groups have been fully allocated. Please DO NOT purchase membership to the society until the next academic year (2013/14). If you are interested in joining St John Ambulance this year, please get in touch with Jenny Jones at GenSec.uonlink@gmail.com, who will forward your query on to the nearest unit.
If you already have a St John Ambulance qualification, or you wish to transfer units, please get in touch with Briony Dean at memberships.uonlinks@gmail.com. If everything is in order, you will be able to purchase society membership (£10).
Mailing list membership is only applicable for Week One, and is invalidated 28 days later. Please do not sign up to the mailing list after this time.
Welcome to St John Ambulance LINKS
St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
As the nation’s leading first aid charity, we teach more people first aid than any other organisation: each year, more than 800,000 complete a St John Ambulance training course. Even so, fewer than one in 10 people have been trained in first aid.
About the Society
LINKS is the university section of St John Ambulance; here we train our members in first aid to provide first aid cover for concerts and events at the university, in Nottinghamshire and at national festivals/events. As a society we also hold socials throughout the year for our members. This website contains all the information you need to know about our society.
