SBABES is Sutton Bonington's own cycling society.
We cover a broad range of disciplines and abilities. Our regular rides include:
-Sunday club run (road ride with cafe stop) ~Bi-monthly mountain biking trips to the peak district and local trail centres. - Beginner's rides most wednesday afternoons, these alternate between local mountain bike rides and road rides.
As a member you have access to our club bikes (2 road bikes + 2 mountain bikes), tools, discount at a local bike shop and free transport to rides further afield (eg. mountain biking in the peaks.)
We encourage cycle commuting to campus from Kegworth and Nottingham and are willing to offer advice relating to this.
During the summer we get involved with local competative events such as time trials, sportives and hill climbs.
