Welcome to Psychology Society (PsychoSoc)
Welcome to PsychoSoc, the society that represents all the psychology students both academically and socially.
We will be putting on plenty of academic events, including book sales, conferneces and internal and external seminars and guest speakers. We will also be running our highly successful mentoring scheme, implemented by the 2009/2010 committee, where a 2nd/3rd year will be the first point of call for fresher's regarding any questions/problems that might come up. We want to make sure you can get as much as you possibly can from your Psychology degree, which is why we're determined to work really hard to give you the members, the best we can!
We are also in charge of putting numerous social events on throughout the year, the first of which will be a boat party for all of you first years to get to know your fellow psycholgists and also 2nd/3rd years to meet up with your coursemates again. We have some exciting plans for socials throughout the year ahead which are NOT to be missed!
Also, we have sports teams for football and netball which are involved in the IMS leagues, so join in, keep fit and meet people on your course!
