Farmers Market (SB)

We aim to

·         make fresh, local & seasonal produce more easily available to students, staff & the village communities surrounding campus. This is especially valuable for those who do not have their own means of transport but would like to buy local.

·         support local producers and businesses in the East Midlands.

·         encourage positive interaction between the campus and the local community.

·         in the longer term, we hope to allow smaller producers, GYO enthusiasts and the allotment society to trade or swap produce.

 

Markets are held on 1st Wednesdays during term-time: Feb, March,

May, June, October, November, December.
