Being Tamil isn't just about enjoying Mutton Rolls, supporting the Chennai Super Kings or even having some close family friends. It is far more than this, Tamil is a language, a culture and its own civilisation. It is the culmination of thousands of years of a people that work hard and are appreciative of being who they are and we at Nottingham are proud to represent such a heritage.
Nottingham Tamil Society started several years ago and has established itself as a society with new ideas, vibrant people and good socials. This year amongst many ideas, we plan to have dozens of club events, restaurant meals, celebrate Deepavali with a ball and go Ice-skating to enjoy Christmas.
Planned trips to Leicester have also been made to socialise with their newly formed Tamil Society and our participation in the UK wide interuniversity Competition FACEOFF which is a widely sort-after event which we help run and organise.
Joining us will guarantee you such a good year to meet so many different people and find a family outside of your home.
