MEDSIN

Medsin UK (registered charity number 1111824) is a network of healthcare students, with branches at medical schools across the UK. Our activities’ aim is to educate about and act upon health inequalities in our local and global communities.

Medsin Nottingham is a branch of Medsin UK, the official representative for IFMSA (International Federation of Medical Students’ Association) in UK. We have several projects and campaigns for students to get involved in throughout the year. Medsin focuses on three areas, and from the local up to the global level:

• Education – of ourselves, fellow students, and the wider community of health inequities and how we can tackle them;
• Advocacy – for action by local, national, and global actors to remove barriers to health for all;
• Action – at the grass-roots level within our communities, mobilising students to take action.
