Nottingham Debate
4th in the European Debate Rankings and winner of multiple national competitions last year, the Nottingham Debating Union prides itself on providing top-class debating opportunities within the University and beyond. We hold public debates on a range of contentious political/current affairs issues every Monday evening, to which anyone is free to attend, non-members included.
Our members can take advantage of training at a variety of levels from experienced debaters, a number of whom have won National competitions and/or broken at the European or World Championships. Members also recieve subsidised entry and travel into UK and International competitions
