The Creative Writing Society allows students to share and develop their interest in creative writing, better themselves as writers but also to socialise with like-minded people.
We hold weekly Lit Circles where you can practice your writing skills and get to know other budding writers like yourselves and also Open Mic Nights where you can perfom your work! We will have a guest speaker visiting us next term and are working hard to secure one for this term. We also publish the university's creative writing magazine Jabberwocky every semester and look forward to getting your contributions for that.
Apart from that, we will keep you up to date with all possible competitions and opportunities to write, and we'll help you out as much as we can!
