The Bar Society is a group for those who are considering a career as a Barrister. We provide support, guidance and activities centered around the Bar in a friendly and often social setting.
The Society, created in 2007, provides trips to the Inns of Court , a trip to the National Pupillage Fair, trips to the local courts and mock trials. Drop-in sessions and careers talks will be put on throughout the year to give guidance and advice as regards issues such as BPTC applications, pupillage applications, Inns of Court Scholarships and general issues that aspiring Barristers may encounter.The Society aims to bring together all those with an interest in the Bar in a supportive environment which will help them to realise their ambition.
