International Students' Bureau (ISB)

The International Students' Bureau (ISB) is an association of the Students' Union (SU), run by international students, for international students. Anyone without a British passport is automatically considered a member of the Bureau.

The ISB is well known for its role in the Welcome Programme. As well as holding many social events to foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all international students. The most celebrated event in the ISB calendar is the ISB Ball. This is an event held to celebrate the cultural diversity of this university's many international students (Over 8000 students from over 110 countries).

The ISB also have a welfare and representational role in the international student community. The ISB represent all international students in the SU and are the channel by which international students voice is heard. Members are always welcome to speak about their university experience.

The ISB also produce the Voice Magazine, which showcases some of the activities in the international student community.

Any international student is assured of a welcome into this association, from the minute they enter this university, till the minute they leave.
