Freshers' Fayre

22nd-24th September 2009, 10am-4pm
Nightingale Field

Find out all about your Students’ Union.

Freshers’ Fair is THE place to find out about everything the Students’ Union has to offer, including societies, sports clubs, student-run services, volunteering and much more.  You can join societies and sports clubs on the day and there’ll be loads of freebies to pick up, including FREE PIZZA from Dominos.

If you’re a postgraduate, don’t be put off by the name – Freshers’ Fair is for everyone and you’re more than welcome. The PGSA will have a stand at the Fair so come along and say hi.

P.S. Make sure you register with the University before you come to Freshers’ Fair as you’ll need your student ID number to join the societies and sports clubs.

What to do before you attend Freshers' Fair

  • Don’t forget to register with the University and collect your University Card before you come to Freshers’ Fayre.
  • You’ll need your Student ID Number to sign up to clubs and societies.
  • If you don’t have your University Card yet don’t worry; your seven digit Student ID Number will be on your University Registration Information Pack.

Can’t make it to Freshers’ Fair?

Don’t despair. You can join clubs and societies online too.  Browse the list of societies and sports clubs and if you see something you like, just click ‘Add to Basket’.  You can then pay at our secure, online checkout.

Returning students

If you’re a returning student and want to continue as a member of a club or society you joined last year, you’ll need to re-join and pay your fees for 2009/10.  You can either do this at Freshers’ Fair or online.

Rejoin members online from the 1st of September
