Volunteering Taster - Flower Pot Painting

Help make your area look beautiful by adding a splash of colour to your front yard!
We want to help you win Nottingham in Bloom's Student Garden Competition by enabling you to paint your own plant pots for your back garden or front yard.
Not only could you win a £100 book voucher you will also get the satisfaction of helping your area look lovely!
It's also a fantastic way to leave a lasting impression on your neighbours as you can donate your plant pot to them when you leave at the end of term!
We will be running a Flower Pot Painting taster on Friday 4th May 12pm to 3pm in the Student Volunteer Centre.
It's a great way to relax and de-stress for half an hour in-between all your revision. You don't need any creative skills to do this.
We will provide all the equipment (plant pots, paint, soil and plants).
We just ask for a voluntary donation of around £1 to cover the costs of the materials.
We'll have the competition entry forms for you to fill in and we'll even pop them in the post for you.
The closing date is June 8th and the judges will visit your front garden the following week.
