Event Description

The Law Revue!

The Law Revue!

Date: Friday 11 May 2012

Time: 7pm - 10pm

Location: Coates Auditorium

Re·vue (Noun): A spectacular, highly comical theatrical entertainment consisting of sketches, songs, dances and stand-up performed by your favourite professors and peers. Picture Stephen Todd's opera mixed with the Royal Variety Show. Only better.
A one-off night of high-jinks and hilarity, the Law Revue is your opportunity to see the likes of Stephen Bailey as you've never seen them before - leotard-clad and armoured with songs, stunts and side-splitting sketches guaranteed to clear the deepest of pre-exam blues, brought to you from the comfort of campus.

Formally the corner-stone sell-out of the School of Law's calendar, the Law Revue has historically seen the likes of Di Birch serenading Sir JC Smith, the now Right Honourable Mr Justice Singh parade his abilities as a world-class dancer, and everyone's favourite Nigey Gravs leave audiences in tears through his Jimmy Carr-esque comedy at the expense of his students. After nearly two decades laying as untouched as Smith's Casebook of Contract Law, THE LAW REVUE IS BACK, BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER!!!

This is undoutedly the most entertaining production you will see this year, and to top things off it's all for a fantastic cause - all proceeds from the small entry fee will be going to the incredibly worthy legal aid charity Amicus ALJ, giving you the opportunity to have the time of your life whilst making a difference in others'.

Save the date - Friday 11th May. Doors open at 7pm. Limited tickets are available online using the form above for £3.50, or on the door for £4.
