BONJOUR / GUTEN TAG !!

 

The event that you've all been waiting for.  The anticipation has been building for several weeks now and we are proud to announce the details of the French and German Society Summer Ball 2012.

Tickets are priced at £34 each for members and £36 for non members (TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM SU BOX OFFICE, PORTLAND BUILDING AND ONLINE) – ON SALE FROM TUESDAY 15TH MAY

 

Ticket price includes: Return Transport, Red Carpet Arrival, Welcome Drink, 3 Course Meal, Half Bottle of Wine (or non alcoholic equivalent), Photographer, DJ and Music,  Jazz Band and AFTER PARTY (Entry included in ticket price and drinks deals)

 

LIMITED AVAILABILITY FOR TICKETS, BUY YOUR TICKET EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

 

You are more than welcome to bring guests with you.

 

In addition, if anyone purchases a ticket but cannot attend please post on the event wall to find others who may wish to buy your ticket.

If you purchase any ticket by a debit/credit card, there will be a 50p administration charge.  This is charge is set from the Union, not us (Sorry x)

Pick up points: -

 

1) Meet at Mooch (or Lakeside steps, Portland Building) from 6:00 p.m. – Bus Departs 6:20 p.m. 

2) Rose and Crown Pub, Derby Road, Lenton from 6:15 p.m. - Bus Departs 6:30 p.m

3) Savoy Cinema - 6:35 p.m

 

Due to the nature of the event – you must be on time at your appropriate pick up points – WE WILL NOT WAIT

 

After Party – We will depart Goosedale Hall for the After party at 12:15p.m

 

If you do not wish to attend the After party these are the following drop off points – 

1) Savoy Cinema, Lenton

2) Lakeside Steps, Portland Building

 

We will not be providing return transport after the After party

Melon Fan with a Fruit Selection Compot (v)

Traditional Roast Chicken Dinner with Roasted Potatoes, Sage & Onion Stuffing, Seasonal Vegetables & Onion Gravy

Mushroom & Spinach Lasagne with Red Onion Salad (v)

Vanilla Cheesecake with Mixed Berry Compot

 

If you are a vegetarian please state this when purchasing your ticket.  If you have any other food allergies please email the contact as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be made.

SEATING PLAN:

 

There will be a seating plan posted in the School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies Common Room.  If you wish to sit next to your friends please write your name on this plan.  Tables seat 9 people.  If you do not write your name on this list we will assign you a free space on a table, however we will try to place you with your appropriate year group.  The Seating Plan will be taken down nearer the event, so please sign up as soon as possible

 

Please bring Proof of Age ID (Driver's License/Passport) & Student ID
