Funny Farm with NICK REVELL

Thursday 10 December 2009
8pm - 11pm

Thurs Dec 10th
Compere Chris Brooker
Nick Revell has been on the comedy circuit since 1980, has made numerous TV and Radio appearances in Britain, Canada and the United States, was a regular compere at the Comedy Store and was nominated for the Perrier Award. After a ten year break, working as a comedy writer, he started doing stand-up again in 2002. When asked why Nick told his audiences ‘I have no real idea why. I like to say it's so that I can bring down the Bush Administration and keep my house. That's partly true, but I think it boils down to the fact that however rewarding it is making TV and radio programmes, there's nothing quite like a live gig. Hopefully that cuts both ways - for the audience as well as the performer’
Hailing from Sheffield, with a fine comedy name, Tom Wrigglesworth started his ascent up the comedy ladder in 2002 and has steadily earned a reputation as an exciting and promising newcomer on the British comedy circuit. Since then, the lanky Yorkshireman has continued to take the UK circuit by storm, wooing audiences far and wide with his gangly presence and confident and assured delivery. He has a winning combination of an impossibly likeable persona and a catalogue of first class material.
Spontaneous, witty and original; Chris Brooker has emerged as one of the hottest free agents on the UK comedy circuit. No two gigs are the same thanks to his unique mixture of top class material and inspired improvisation.

Doors open 8.00pm - tickets £3.50 advance / £4.50 door
