STARS Training

Why attend STARS Training sessions?

Why attend STARS training courses?Training forms an important part of the STARS scheme - you must attend Bronze Handover training in order to achieve your Bronze Award, and by attending further sessions, you can achieve your Silver Award.

Every group can benefit from training, no matter how big, small, or successful you are now.

Groups that achieve long term success from year to year are those that invest their time in continous development and improvement - so what are you waiting for!

As well as the sessions listed here, you can request extra tailor-made training sessions if you feel that your group has a training need that is not currently being met, for example team-building for your new committee, Recruiting and Retaining members, or Dealing with Conflict. These extra sessions will count towards your Silver Award. Just let us know what you want training on, and we will arrange it!

All sessions take place in the Students' Union Training Room on A Floor in the Portland Building (next to the Students' Union Print Shop) unless otherwise specified.
