About Intra-Mural Sport
The University of Nottingham boasts one of the largest programmes of intra-mural sport in the country. Intra-mural sport is sport played between students of the University who represent their halls and/or societies.
Each week over 1200 students compete in eight different sports played on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays across a number of different venues. Every intra-mural sport has its own officer who is responsible for arranging fixtures, informing teams of cancellations and collecting results, and they should be the first point of contact for any enquiries.
Each sport has its own link on the left hand side where you can find league tables, fixtures, results, and information about venues, days and times of matches, as well as the contact details for the relevant IMS officer.

In the autumn semester teams are randomly allocated to leagues and in the spring semester leagues are set up based on team’s performances in the autumn semester. Then in late March the IMS season culminates with the best teams from Nottingham taking on the best intra-mural teams from Loughborough in the annual IMS Varsity series.
