BUCS Sport
British University and College Sport (BUCS) run the national sporting competition between all higher and further education institutions.
The University of Nottingham compete in over 45 different sports against other institutions each week and at the annual BUCS Championships.
Teams are awarded points for their final league positions which contribute to the ranking position of a University. For the last three years the University of Nottingham has finished 7th in BUCS (out of 146).

The University of Nottingham has a number of 1st teams competing in their respective premier leagues against the likes of Loughborough, Birmingham, Leeds Met and Durham.
In 2010/2011 the Mens Table Tennis 1st team won the BUCS Table Tennis championships securing a huge points haul for the University.
