Education Network

The Education Network At Healthcare Sites

It doesn't matter if you are a: nursing student based at Mansfield, a Midwifery student at Lincoln or a Healthcare Sciences student based at Derby…if you are University of Nottingham student (regardless of location) you can access the Education Network by contacting your local Course Reps.
The Education Network is in place to ensure that all your views are heard by the University and other bodies.
The network is made up of the: Education Officer, Faculty Co-ordinators, School Reps and Course Reps.

If you have any concerns or suggestions about your course, then Your Course Rep is the first point of contact. They can take your views and ideas forward for discussion at your School or Centre’s Learning Community Forum (LCF) meeting, they will then update you on the outcomes of the meeting.

Learning Community Forums At Healthcare Sites

There are two schools that have Learning Community Forums based at healthcare sites away from Nottingham:
•    The School of Nursing Midwifery & Physiotherapy has a variety of Learning Community Forums covering its various centres and programmes:
        Boston LCF                for Diploma/BSc Nursing & Midwifery)
        Derby    LCF                for Diploma/BSc Nursing & Midwifery & GEN)
        Lincoln    LCF                for Diploma/BSc Nursing & Midwifery)
        Mansfield LCF                for Diploma/BSc Nursing & Midwifery)
        Nottingham (City Hospital) LCF    for BSc Physiotherapy
        Nottingham (QMC) LCF        for Diploma/BSc Nursing & Midwifery
        Nottingham (QMC) LCF        for MNursSci Nursing
•    The School of Graduate Entry Medicine & Health has an LCF meeting based at the Derby Medical School and this covers all the programmes in the school.
